The Davide Morrone’s Farm is in the hills of the ancient and charming medieval village of Altomonte, in the province of Cosenza.
The Farm “Davide Morrone” boasts a considerable number of visitors who appreciate the wines produced, as it has a history of three generations of winemakers who are passionately committed to the cultivation of grapes in the full respect and protection of the territory without losing sight the high quality of its products.
With its sixteen hectares of wines and olive groves placed at about 300 meters above sea level, with a southwest exposure that creates a favourable micro-climate , the grapes grown allow to produce wines with denomination of origin that keep intact the organoleptic qualities that are typical of the grapes.
The wines of Farm Davide Morrone are cultivated with passion and dedication; the harvest is monitored with the utmost care, the grapes are carefully selected and hervested by hand, and then they are immediately fermented with a modern plant through a process that respetcs and enhances their natural qualities.
The grape varieties grown by the Farm Morrone are: Magliocco, black Guarnaccia, Montepulciano, Cabernet, Gaglioppo, white Malvasia, Greek white, Mantonico.
